Let's get one thing straight - Pendles does not display "Dal Santo" like qualities - he's not a wanker for one thing!
Nicky Dal wishes he was half the player Pendles is, instead of just half a mongrel...

Look we all know that the umpires are very conservative creatures. They don't need much provocation to award free kicks and votes against Collingwood players.
Poor Dane Swan can't win because he has permanent tattoos.
But please Scott Pendlebury lose the dreadlocks. That's something you can change. Short-back-and-sides (like Sooky-la-la of St Buggery) and you'd be a sure winner of the Charlie in 2011.

Yeah, we are seen to be too left wing at Collingwood. Just have a look at VPT. 
Besides, Ablett and Judd show that you probably have to go all the way with the umpires these days to get Brownlow votes.
I mean you need to shave your hair off.

He only had on "Ball" didn't he , so that explains why the free kicks dry up after the first is given.

Last year proved the Brownlow is a load of shit. Seriously. It's irrelevant as far as anyone who actually watches football is concerned.
So...
First - Pendles gets dreads so he doesn't have to win it, thereby avoiding any future comparisons with Judd. It's just belittling.
Second - Within an unspecified time frame, we give the heave ho to the Pratt Cup!
Third - if Pendles owns dreads Harry might fire up the afro which is sorely missed by at least 7 people i can think of. No, it's actually only 11.
You know it makes sense.
