Exploded for one of the best games of his career today Vs Boston.
If the Cavs can get past Boston in game seven and face Houston with CP3 under an injury cloud... then maybe it's possible to win the title.
If they face GSW, then I think it's too much of a challenge.
I really dont want another Cavs/Warriors final tho... _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Cavs made it through. LBJ starred again. If only he played a real sport that didn’t put people to sleep. |

Just cant believe its Cavs Vs Warriors again.
4th year in a row.
So not only do I hear the Warriors are better than the 90's Bulls and that LBJ is better than Jordan. Now I hear people saying this is the biggest rivalry in basketball history... You know like LA-Boston is nothing... _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

At $8 to win game one, I put a 5er on the Cavs.
Almost...

Not that playoff exits make u a better or worse player, but LeBron has finally lost a first round series.
First rounds lost; JBL 1, MJ 3.
Playoffs missed; JLB 3, MJ 2 (Both Wizards seasons).
What LBJ has is longevity. Coming straight out of high school and playing up into his late 30's will see him play many more seasons than MJ who spent three seasons in college and had two retirements (missing 4.5 seasons of play). _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

LeBron has the points, Jordan the titles. But who is the GOAT?
'The debate over who is the NBA’s greatest player of all time may never be settled but some observers could finally be willing to give LeBron James the edge over Michael Jordan after he broke one of the game’s most sacred records this week.
Surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s nearly 40-year-old record as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer on Tuesday is one of the most notable statistical achievements of the modern era and a testament to James’ sustained dominance.
...
Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 1,072 regular season games across 15 seasons while James, now in his 20th season, has averaged 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 1,410 games during his NBA career.
Those who favour Jordan, who personified greatness on the court, quickly point out that he went a perfect 6-0 in the NBA Finals, leading the Chicago Bulls to two three-peat performances during the 1990s. James has four titles in 10 NBA Finals trips.
...
Former NBA coach George Karl, whose teams went up against both Jordan and James, ... suggested Jordan would have been even more dominant in today’s game amid a league-wide trend in favour of offence.
“Anyone who is debating Michael’s GOAT status doesn’t realise he would average a 40 PPG triple double in the modern game!” Karl ... wrote on Twitter.'

LeBron's 38,390-point scoring record a triumph in longevity of mind, body
https://www.espn.com.au/nba/story/_/id/35610921/lebron-38390-point-scoring-record-triumph-longevity-mind-body
'As the years went on, Mancias started adding more items to the menu. Massages. Cryotherapy chambers. Hyperbaric chambers. Leg compression therapy. He convinced James to buy a VersaClimber for his home gym. Then he talked him into installing a cold tub at his house. Then a hot tub alongside it, each ready at any hour of the day. Then Pilates.
If you happened to be in the Cavs' team hotel in the late 2000s and you happened to walk by the pool in the mornings, you might've been stunned to see James doing a headstand yoga pose.
Mancias brought that technique to James as well. It was something Abdul-Jabbar pioneered in the NBA in the 1970s, when such practices were unheard of.
...
Over the years James has worked with many different specialists -- at one time he personally employed a full-time biomechanics specialist to manage back issues -- to boost his performance and prolong his career.
...
When Mancias first started working with James, they'd take four to six weeks off after each season. Eventually they shortened that break to two weeks. James found he felt better the shorter the break.' |

BTW...
You'd think a fella who reckons LeBron is the GOAT would spell his name right.
Just sayin'... |

Oldest son, Bronny James, had a cardiac arrest in practice.
He's okay in terms of life & death, but it's too early to know when he can return to basketball. Media say he's "one of the top NBA prospects". |
