There was a really good Queen doco on 9 last week. Friday or Saturday night. I was in Toc with only FTA TV so I watched it, thinking I'd change but watched the whole thing.

Was called "days of our lives" if anyone wants to look for it on freeview.

San Andreas was watchable for one reason: Alexandra D'Addario. Ohh baby.

Jo, watched the towering inferno a few weeks back, it has held up better than I thought; Newman and McQueen carry the film, all 2-1/2 hours of it!

Now die hard - that's a movie for the ages!
And after all, it isn't really Xmas until Hans Gruber takes a header from the top of Nakasaki Tower.... Welcome to the Party, pal!

I get Macau TV on my cable and it puts movies on all the time ad free. I watched Salt today and recently The Shawshank redemption which is a movie I rate very highly and Goodfellas the other night. They are on long rotation so they appear every 4 weeks. In English to with chinese subtitles. Another channel I have is showing Harry Potter movies.

Wasnt that keen on salt, not Angies best, Shawshank redemption is just brilliant, probably watched it 1/2 a dozen times.

Spur of the moment hubby decides we should go see Second Act with JLo, walk in and his sister was there, I laughed a bit, the laughed and cried, told em they can go to chick flick together, from now on I want the rock, acar chase and an Uzi or two!

Speaking of shit shows, watched the conners, nope it diedwith Roseannes character, bloody awful.

Saw two films in the last couple of weeks:

1. Roma: 2018 from Mexico. Loved it. Best foreign film at the Golden Globes recently.

2. The Favourite 2018: Great acting, cinematography and wardobe. Fun. Didn't go anywhere but is a hoot.

Just saw both of those myself! Romas amazing; best film I saw last year, I reckon! The Favourite was good too I was astonished by how much of it was based on fact.

You have fine taste David!!

Roma is an incredible film. Powerful. Mrs WPT loved both films especially Roma.
