a lot can happen in 39 days. but saying that if the start was this weekend it would be very interesting to see were we really are with player availability. I for one have plenty of patience for rnd1 just because our pre season started so late and our injury list needs to be bees dick short at this time of the year.

The "Unleash the Passion" video on the CFC website gives me goosebumps. Just can't wait to see the boys in action again.

23 and 24 march is General election day (and the intent is they have to vote for Generals) . The girlfriend wants me to take her to the village to vote and they are bar closure days. She wants to go friday arvo and I can't get footy up there. No we go Saturday morning. 1 night up there is bad, 2 is torture. Although I will get a drink. There is an ice cream parlour near the voting place. They all go to bed around 9 and get up around 6. No running water. No aircon. Luckily it only a 4 hour bus ride. 90 channels on Tv and one in english, an old movie that shows academy award winners. It will start here at 3.50 so Tukky goes for a walk around 3.00 and I will grab some beers .
Can you imagine if a Government in Australia said we will ban the sale of alcohol on 2 days around an election. They would be voted out.

No. But funny thing is the only places that seem to get fined for selling grog on the designated Buddha and Government days are bars in tourists areas that cater for non buddhists and people who can't vote. I walked into a Mom and Pop shop yesterday and bought a beer whilst walking the dog.

You can have lockin days at the right place and the right price. You can leave but not come back . Noone gets in. But as this is a family forum I will leave it to your imagination when you have 12 drinking tourists and about the equivalent of friendly girls drinking with you and rooms upstairs.

Two Thais sitting in a bar at 2am. Says one to the other: "Can you imagine if a Government in Thailand said we will have lockout laws. There would be a military coup."

Speaking of 23, I noticed the current number 23 was number 23 at his old club.

2 days to go until our first JLT match. Which means, 20 DAYS TO GO until our AFL season starts!!

Although some are just counting down the days until the AFLW is over.
