No it’s a life lesson

I would say it’s more of a redundant platitude

Every team does a preseason etc. If they’re guilty of anything it’s possibly overpreparing (Tom Hafey?)

With the doubt over WHE ,Crisp and Howe ( not a long set back club say) who last played GF —in the event of Round one without them who steps up

Crisp looked to be in the thick of things in this morning's training session, according to the video at CFC.com. And so was Brodie!!! Very Happy

Gawd I wish we could get an honest clue about who will be ready come Rd.1. I've been reading, analysing, interpreting, & re-reading & I just couldn't tell you will be lining up come March 22. The worst is the conflicting reports. One minute Wells is fighting hard to make Rd.1, nek minnit, He'll be lucky to play at all.

Still, We did hear that Brodes & Crispy look good, which is a huge bonus, there's no point avoiding the fact that for a side with a boatload of injuries we're mighty vulnerable when it comes to the former big bloke.
If anything were to happen to keep Brodes out for a long time we'd struggle mightily.
Not simply because of of a lack of talls, we have 4 other guys big enough to play ruck, but I think we all know Brodie isn't just a ruckman, he gives us something no other side has, which is pretty much an extra mid, a small forward, & an attacking half back. But its more than that, he's a match winner, a speccie taker, in short, he's something only we have.

God save Brodie Grundy!

Last season Max Lynch was a big kid learning his craft in VFL and not mentioned regularly as AFL asperent

His presence at training highlighted in training and also part of a group
at country community trip

Would we expect he will be in the frame any time soon

I think at the moment he loses most of the ruck contests at training (and not just to Grundy).

Must admit not seen him at our training—just some VFL games

He’s young and raw—-work in progress going to a good outcome??
