| Post subject: Why we must beat North Melbourne on Saturday |  |

North are the favorite to take the cup home. A part of that reason is that they poached 4 of our players.
And not just any 4. You could almost guarentee that 3 of the 4 will be in the team of the year. One may even win the leagues B&F.
North lost their first game last week against the Crows. We, of course, are still winless.
With 2 rounds left, this game becomes important for a few reasons;
*We can still avoid the wooden spoon.
I dont want a spoon. Not in AFL, not in VFL, not in AFLW, no spoons of any kind. A win here and a GWS loss to the crows will see us out of bottom spot with one game to go.
*A winless season will cost a lot of jobs.
And how fkn embarrassing? If we were to go 7 games without a win.... sheesh.
*We can cost North a finals spot.
It's true. If we get up and Freo knocks of the Cats, they'll be out of a finals spot with one game to go. North have become a big rival out of this. It would be a kick in the... fanny? if North got up and won the cup with King, Duffin, Hope and Garner starring.
Our season is almost over. Finals are gone. But we can still have an impact on the finals contenders. Play with some fkn pride and take down those bitches.
Best case for us this round;
Collingwood defeat North
Adelaide defeat GWS
Fremantle defeat Geelong
Wonder what the multi is paying?

Would love the girls to beat North but don't see it happening. North have gone the short term success route in poaching players and as the results show have a very good team
So long as the Pies give it their best shot and give them a run for their money I will be happy.

2 out of 3 aint bad. Except it was our game that didnt go our way.
We can still avoid the spoon if we beat the Lions and GWS lose to the Cats.
North can still miss the finals if they lose to Freo. The winner of that game will get a final spot while the loser goes home. So GO DOCKERS!.
It'll be hilarious of North miss out after going 5-2 whilst a team that is 3-3 gets in from the other conference.

Despite the loss, it was the Pies last 2 goals that put a dent in North’s percentage and as a result they play a knock out game next weekend.
I will also be supporting Freo

Yep. Thanks Freo. Hilarious.
Its too bad the Dogs didnt beat Carlton as it would have meant that the conference B would have been below the whole conference A on a normal ladder.
Two teams get in (Cats and Blues) with a worse record than almost all of Conference A, which includes North.
Eat a bag.
