The champ is out with a broken finger. Hopefully back for finals. _________________ "Still waiting for your call Caroline ... not a quote in sight. Don't ever presume to speak on Collingwood's behalf," |

Absolutely spewing.
Thought he was a sneaky Brownlow chance. For a top 5 finish anyway.
With 7 games to go to reach 300 and only 6 rounds left in the season, we might have to wait until the early rounds of 2020 to celebrate the milestone.
He was inspirational on Friday night. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Pendles has been named for tomorrow's match.

Mr Jezza, he is a warrior, indeed- Im rather hoping that Pendles sits this one out. I still think we can win away without him. I would hate his season to be compromised by playing him this afternoon and suffering further injury. _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

They have still not published what *actually* has been done to his finger. The hysteria from the media has been obscene. _________________ Get back on top. |

2 magnificent goals and numerous score involvements in the second half, so far. Just a wonderful player. |

If you want to talk rubbish about Pendlebury, why embarrass yourself by doing it in his tribute thread? |

I'm not rubbishing him you dimwit. He's an amazing player.
He's clearly under duress and shouldn't be playing.
He's injured and should be out of the team until his finger heals.
No point being "brave" if it means he is far less effective than he typically is. |

I didn’t say you were rubbishing him. I said you were talking rubbish about him. The two are quite different things. He’s the captain. He’s played a great game in the second half to try to lift the team. The midfield has actually won the territory and inside 50 battle quite convincingly. Pendlebury has been massive, again. We aren’t losing because Pendlebury is hampered - frankly, I’m not sure he is. |

I apologise P4S, but I wasn't talking rubbish about him either, just saying that he really shouldn't have played tonight. He is clearly injured, and as admirable as it is to play injured (and do what he did), he was clearly below his best. |
