If he's 'fit' in 3 weeks time would you pick him
I wouldn't
In same boat as last year; too risky and unreliable.
Nothing will change with him.

He played about a dozen games on end, for the first time I can remember, so he has certainly been more durable this year than last.

However, it is obviously somewhat of a gamble to play him. Given our current stocks, it's a gamble I'd be prepared to take, if the medicos give him the all clear.

Has to play before the finals to be considered. Same as last year unfortunately.

It's like he has inherited that 1981 Qualifying final ping in his hamstring from his old man. Never ending

Ditto.

He's been invaluable, AA CHB before getting injured. You trust the fitness staff to get him right, give him a short run in the VFL then play him.

Play him next in ( round 22 and ) round 23. If he gets through, he then gets a week break before finals and thats an ok preparation for him.
These guys have so many miles in their legs by now, three or four weeks off isn’t the end of the world ( it might impact their touch a little but not their ability to run out a game )

If he breaks down, so be it but we’re a better side with him in it, so if he’s fit, he will be playing in Sept.

Look, I’d rather play Appleby. It went so well last time.

Moore will play if he can get right. No doubt about it. the bigger issue is whether he can get right. He hasnt shown any ability to do that "in-season" in the past.

Such a shame we caused him to tear his hamstring off the bone in his first reserves game because it was from the bad old days when we had the kids doing the same intense training as the adults! Killed Freeman's career and has jeopardized Moore's.
