After being over looked (unfairly I believe) in the Rising star award last year, Josh Fraser is starting to get the kudos that he deserves. On 3AW tonight they were debating as who would be the best player to take from another side, with Josh being touted along with Ottens and Kouta. G. Healy indicated that he felt Fraser was heading with a bullet to be , in the next couple of years , the premier player in the comp, and as such the potential made him the choice man. (Walls went for Ottens) . Nice wrap, that everyone on this forum would have already acknowledged.
However I’m thinking that THIS YEAR he may (with 10 rounds to go) even be a bit of a roughy for the brownlow. If you check out the media awards he’s creeping up in most. And given a few more games may even move into the educated betting high on the list. His performance on Friday is really just a taste of what this young man is going to give the Pies for the next 10 years.
Go gettem Josh,

Alf,
Already on for $50 at $51.00 - big chance!!!
Cheesy, Bucks and Tarrant will steal votes though. Even Anthony will have picked up a few in recent weeks but I think that Josh's 2nd, 3rd and 4th efforts on the ground and the way he moves will get him plenty of votes.
Good luck big fella!!

If you've got the spare cash then Josh would be an excellent top 3 bet for the brownlow. An outsider for winning but I see he has overtaken Bucks as our top ranked player in most awards.
Just get your money on quick as his price is certain to shorten fast.
BTW, is he now favorite for the Copeland?

yeah hes a star already, whenever he gets the ball he always looks really good and has great composure, like someone whos been playing for years.
although i do have to disagree with u afisher, i do think paul haselby deserved the rising star award last year, but at this point in time rogan is a much better player.

On Josh taking the brownlow. I was unaware that he was leading in many media awards. I would've thought obree had a better chance. He consistently amounts heaps of possessions and he's bound to be noticed with his locks. OB will give it a real shake. |

Just think:
Josh Fraser is only 19. He has many years of great football in front of him.
If he wins the Brownlow this year, he'll win it again.
