rumours has it that with StKildas big buy up that Collingwood may be favoured to get Matthew Allan across from the Carlscum,
Any updates, and what are thoughts on this. Personally I think hes worth big bucks not only as one of the top 2 or 3 ruckmen, but he would give Josh a great oppotunity to ease into ruck work and give centre half forward a shake.
Go for it Eddie ($500,000 plus)

no doubt it would turn around what has been a marginal (at best gien what we also lost) trading period

well surely we must have done so crap during trading period only to pick-up some1 good at a later date. How would this work but have they delisted Allen or something or are they over the salary cap thingy coz isnt the trading time over now. I dont get how all this changing clubs business works?

spidergirl . The oppotunityto get Allen comes as the drafting of an uncontrcated player in the December Draft. Currently we have the second pick, but with the saints under Slary cap pressure with their big pickups , they would both; find it hard to fit him in to thier cap, and also it would seem less useful to off load players to fit him in now they have forked out bucks for Capuano

spidey: i think that because he is out of contract and hasn't signed a new one, that means that he isnt really playing for carlton so now he goes into the draft and collingwood better bloody well get him.

Yes this idea of Allan coming over to Collingwood is very pleasing!!!!!! Hope it actually ends up coming true unlike the Gherig rumor,,, that still pisses me off

It would be so good for the pies to get Matty and ww being make life a bit easier for ROGUN as he still needs plenty of time to develop. Matty Allan + Collingwood = Finals berth

I think you guys are dreaming. Matty Allan will not come to Collingwood.

We had four months to seal the Gehrig deal and we couldnt even do that. The last decent player we got through a trade was Buckley.

Why would Matty Allan want to come to Collingwood.....
