Essendon or Carlton?

Considering the fact that Carlton has 16 flags and Essendon 15, who do we Collingwood fans want to win this year?

Since 3/4 time today all I care about is trades and draft picks . But it would be nice to see both the bombers and blues blow it come finals time as it could not happen to a better pair of ______.

I hope Dees win the flag this year with Leoncelli best on ground and if they cant do it - Doggies with Scotty West best on ground and if they can't - Tigers with Leon Cameron best on ground!

Obviously Essendon are the true premiers of this year though even if they shock us all and don't actually win it. Last year they were the real premiers in my mind not bloody North and damm Carlton shouldnt have even been able to weazle their way any wear near the eight let alone a spot in the grand final line up.

Even though Essendon deserve to win it, I hate them as they are arrogant and up themselves. But I wouldn't want Carlton, nor Kangaroos.. Wouldn't mind seeing Richmond or Melbourne, though.

But it all comes down to who will be able to beat Essendon. BTW, they cheated on the salary cap and that just REALLY peeves me off! THey were 14th 3 years ago...

I go to school in, and live near, Essendon, so I'll never hear the end of it if they win! But they really do deserve to win, that's for sure. Carlton is an option...this time they actually deserve to get into the GF, unlike last year! But I reckon if it comes down to Essendon and Carlton, Essendon will win. In fact, I reckon they might belt Carlton this week. Just a hunch - just because it's been built up so much, I reckon it'll be rather anti-climactic, going on Essendon's form of late. Then again, Carlton is a real chance too. Might be a draw!! I just don't want Essendon to beat our record of going through a whole season undefeated!

I think we'd all like to see Richmond or Melbourne win. I have a bit of a soft spot for Richmond especially, I think it's the song, it's a good one! The best after our one I reckon.

Anyway, this is my first appearance on this board for a while, I have been so disappointed in Collingwood's form of late that I couldn't come or I'd just go off!!! And I don't think you all would appreciate my whining! Even if it is true. Actually, that's what most people do anyway! Hahaha!

Ummm, I've gotten sidetracked now! Sorry guys!

I see jealousy prevails! You all must lead sad lives (and obviously do, supporting Collingwood) if you have nothing better to do than decide if Essendon or Carlton would win the P'ship and which one is more scummier. Did your non-intellectual minds ever stop to think maybe it wasn't going to BE a Essendon Carlton match up? Doesn't look like it.

if you read one of the other posts you will see that most people have very different views on who was going to match up, the topic here was just to see who would win if essendon and carlton DID play each other.
