Part of a story taken from the NewsCorp site (Advertiser I think)

"Magpies shed 15 players

By GEOFF POULTER
29sep00

COLLINGWOOD has farewelled 15 players since the end of the 2000 season and now has only four players left from the 1997 squad.

Captain Nathan Buckley, defender Scott Burns, forward Anthony Rocca and utility Mark Richardson are the sole survivors from three years ago. "

Story goes on to say we have shown 40 players the door over the last two years. Is this too much turnover?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Prestigiacomo is another player from the 1997 squad who is still at the Club.

Yeah, Presti's been around for yonks. He only started playing regularly in Shaw's last year as coach. Thats when he was thrown in the deep end at full back to sink or swim. History has shown that after few doggie paddles at first he has now developed a strong freestyle.
