yeah i reckon we can win more than one, and we do have the makings of a really good team, cos they are all young and in a couple of years will have a few games racked up and then we can win heaps of games. whoever doesnt agree you can mock if you want but we gave essendon a run for their money twice this year.

Yeah I think we probably can. Its always good to be optimistic. Hopefully the team is kicking ass by around 2001-2002. I think we will be awesome.

I won't bother depressing you all again with my predictions. But I'll say this. I make London Dave look like an optimist.

I was going to say no hope in hell, but one must have some degree of optimism.

Its hard to say because alot of teams in the AFL are rebuilding like us, or will remain dominant for a while.
-Essendon have 2000 and 2001 in the bag.
-North + Carlton will probibly get worse.
-Melbourne will hit their peek may in 2001 but could imporve in 2002.
-Fremantle will make the finals by 2002.
-Port should have done better this year and will peek in 2002 if they can keep Gavin on park.
-Geelong will also improve greatly hitting their peek in 2002.
-Weagles, Stkilda and probibly the Doggies are screwed.
-The rest are fairly unpredictable. Richmond, Hawthorn, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney should do better but are capable of any thing.
2002, 2003 should be our time to shine but alot of teams should also be at their best, hopefully making for some to quality football.

well actually if you look at collingwoods history collingwood and finals do go together, its winning those finals that is the problem

If we make the finals I'll be happy. There are alot of good teams, and just to mix it with them in the next couple of years could see us with the holy grail in 4-5 years. Our young guns Nick,Chippa,Chris,A.Rocca,Presti,OB,Oborne,Shawry jr,Josh,Roach,Leon,Johnson,Tarks,Mal,Tuckey,Ukovic,etc. You gotta say there is talent and importantly skill in that group.Our list is potentially huge like Nick Davis said if we were in an under 21 comp we would be like the Essendon of the comp.A couple good draft picks ie someone with our no.2 pick plus a Jason Cloke, plus hopefully some value for Big Sav,plus get Gehrig somehow,plus King? With that group gelled together under Mick I'm optomistic. One thing that was very unfortunate was Mark Kinnear opting to abandone us AFTER!!! we traded him. Anyone who says we ain't got a future is fooling themselves.

Ye syou are correct there. Our young players will mature and we will have won a flag and been in the finals on 3 or 4 occasions.
