Does the club have a way of voting but while not being present at the AGM? There were of us standing around at the gym tonight here in bloody hot Canberra, all social club members and none of us knew if we could vote or not. We would all like to support Eddie, you never know three votes may be important, ask Bush or Gore.

I would be happy to give my proxy vote to Eddie or Joffa who I know will vote for the retention of the current board.

I'm sure if interstate social club members got in touch with the Club a form would have been sent to them so that they could lodge a postal vote. Bit late now for that seeing voting is tomorrow. Actually, thinking about it now, postal vote forms were sent out with some of the candidate's letters.

Don't worry, Doug - when I run for Presidency, I'll be sure everybody's suitably catered for, (as long as it's in my best interests).

Everybody will have a vote! (unless they vote against me!)

We'll have a pure democracy (as long as nobody disagrees with me).

How can you argue with policies like that?

Nah, now that Jeff Kennett's out of power he's going back to where he was born - Jim Henson's Muppet Factory. John Howard will no doubt join him soon!

And, Doug, please! I have a personality, so I can't be Gore or Bush. Bush isn't a real man, though, is he? I thought he was one of the characters from the "Thunderbirds" TV Series.
