Xmas party and AGM

Did anyone go to these. How ere they and what did they discuss at the AGM I couldn't go because I have only joined the social club for 2001 therefore I am not eligible to vote this year but next year. Oh well. Appreciate any feedback. What was the feeling like at the club??

Yep I went last nite!

OK well it was pretty shitty how all the corporates were round the place but once we got in it was cool they trained about 5 o clock in front of a fairly big crowd then after that we had a chance to see the players for a bit. Spoke to Wakes he seems happy to be here and we spoke to a few others Shawry, Nick D. Then they all headed up for tea and to go to the meeting at around 7. We saw Eddie and heaps of old players were there like Rose, Twiggy Dune um i dont really know them but Magpie Maniac will tell u if she comes on.

At the meeting Eddie started with everyone singing the Collingwood song then spoke for a bit with his main point being that in 2001 onwards no player will wear the Collingwood guernsey unless they earn it. In the ressies they will be in Williamstown therefore they must earn a senior spot to wear the black and white. They introduced the new players, (ones from other clubs and young ones from the draft) Then we got a really big surprise to see big Monkey as they awarded him with life membership also Richo got it. And yeah the rest was boring so that's all i remember. Oh yeah and i spoke to Mick he seemed really pumped saying that the side was ready now n stuff. So there u go Seth.
