BB Changes

I know some of you have been having trouble with ubb code, so I have tried to make it a bit easier by adding some buttons and options to the posting page.

When you post you will notice the new buttons above the text window that allow you to change the format of your text.

All it does at the moment is insert the appropriate ubb code and it's a bit clunky and hard to use, but we're heading in the right direction and I will try and streamline it. At the moment you have to select the format you want, then type the text. I will try to get it working like a word processor so that you can select the text and then apply the format.

There is also an image upload function (the paperclip button). So if you have an image that you want to include, but don't have access to a server, you can upload it to ours. I've set a size restriction of 20k so that we're not overloaded.

You don't have to use, it will still work the way it always has, so the changes only affect you if you use them.

Anyway, have a play with the buttons and the different options below the window and let me know what you think.

Spell checker's been there for a week or two Mags.

Look at the bottom, there is a button beside the 'Preview' button and, believe it or not, it's marked Spell Check.

Hey Mike, when I click on image, bold etc etc buttons, they keep on disappearing! Is that meant to happen?

I'm getting the same thing as Doug.

Put simply, the Online List WON'T update! It has been saying the same thing for 2 days!

Yeah I had the same problem with the time on the Who's Online page. I went there about 11 in the morning and it said that it was 16:43 in the afternoon.

OK I'll put it on the list. There's still a lot of stuff not working after the crash at the weekend - nightly emails, guest book, bits of the bb, thank God it's off-season.
