Post subject: Allegations of sexual misconduct against two Aints. | |
|
It has been reported that Brighton CIB are investigating claims of sexual misconduct against two Aints players. They have been named on another board but until something concrete turns up I'll leave their names out. In a seperate case,Insight on SBS at 7.30pm will air charges against a prominent AFL player that occurred 4 years ago. It has been reported that their will be a press conference at 4pm at the Aints headquarters at Linton St. _________________ Do not adjust your mind. The fault is in reality. |

Geez, if you are a footballer you would want to be staying away from strange girls, until you have achieved everything you want to achieve in football.
The start of the slide for the Aints. I was expecting it to happen sometime during the season, but they have got in early (as has Richmond). _________________ Scooby Doo says "I've been to Lexus too." |

It would be nice if the media stuck to the "no naming names" until they get their facts straight.
Channel 7 have had to air a retraction in naming Koschitzke who the police and St Kilda have both denied is involved.
Poor kid. How awful would that be?? |

Yep that is right. Justin K. was incorrectly named. St Kilda are looking into what action they can take against those who incorrectly named him. _________________ Scooby Doo says "I've been to Lexus too." |

They have just been named on MMM.
Milne and Montagna.
Stik35, I'm not sure it is a good idea to speculate what happened, even if it has been aired in the media, because as was proven today, they can be wrong - bbmods |

That's exactly how it is stik35. I listened to the press conference and got the usual crap from St Kilda. "We will stand by our players" The fact that the players have just been counselled over the Canterbury Bulldogs case shows you how dumb these guys are. Wonder what Milne's wife will make of all this. _________________ Do not adjust your mind. The fault is in reality. |

New football sex assault claim
By staff writers
March 16, 2004
http://www.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,8982506%255E2,00.html
The St Kilda AFL club today said police were investigating sex allegations against two of its players.
Detectives are questioning two men over the alleged incident.
St Kilda chief executive Brian Waldron said the allegations were of a serious sexual nature, and had been emphatically denied by the two players, Stephen Milne, 24, and Leigh Montagna, 20.
He said no charges had been laid over the allegations, which related to events on Sunday night.
Me Waldron said the matter was in the hands of police, who would advise the players after the investigation whether charges would be laid.
He said he understood the allegations related to two women and two players.
The allegations were "vehemently denied" by both players, he said.
"Both players have fully cooperated with police and have made full statements emphatically denying the allegations," Mr Waldron told journalists.
Mr Waldron appealed that the players' reputations be considered "given that all we have are allegations".
"We ask that the media and the public respect the privacy of the players involved and to remember that a person is presumed innocent until proven otherwise."
He said the club and players regarded the allegations as extremely serious.
Meanwhile, in a separate case, a woman has implicated a current and prominent AFL player in an alleged pack rape.
The allegations were to be aired on SBS's Insight program tonight.
The AFL player is alleged to have been part of a group who raped the woman a few years ago.
The woman, whose identity will be protected, says she was raped and threatened with bashing to keep her quiet.
The allegations involving AFL players follow investigations in NSW into claims up to six Bulldogs rugby league players raped a woman at a Coffs Harbour resort following a pre-season game in February. An SBS current affairs program to be broadcast tonight will link AFL players to an alleged pack rape some years ago.
Yesterday's alleged incident is not connected. |

Such a crime if proven guilty should carry a mandatory 20 year sentence with no parole and no good behaviour!!!
And if St kilda want to stand behind 2 players( if guilty) of such an act i hope they are doomed for hell forever. _________________ Football is Greatness

We dont know what happened, so I dont think anybody has the right to judge, the mdia change stories so quickly to sell papers. You never know these days, this girl could be in it for a quick buck herself
Innocent until proven guilty
and as for Justin Koschitzke I hope he sues who ever wrongfully named him! _________________ -Han

We really have to forget about the 5 year old allegations aired on SBS tonight.
This woman lost her chance for justice by not reporting it at the time, therefore denying the prosecution the chance for normal evidence gathering procedures. It is now only one persons word against anothers, no chance for justice here for either party. Harsh, but true.
As for the current allegations, even an actual rape has not occured but consensual sex has, I'm sure the first named players partner will be devastated.
The chances of these allegations proceeding to court are far higher as evidence is fresh. |
