MELBOURNE, AAP - Collingwood recruit Chad Rintoul will be out until mid-season after breaking his leg in yesterday's Anzac Day clash with Essendon.
Originally claimed by the club to be a calf injury, the Magpies admitted today he had broken the fibula bone.

He will be out for four to six weeks - a blow for the Magpies as he had displayed some good form since crossing from West Coast in the off-season.

With their next game not until May 6 against Carlton, the `Woods will expect to regain ruckman Steven McKee from a shoulder injury.

Damien Adkins could be back after a long-term groin injury, while hamstring victims Scott Burns and Andrew Ukovic will face fitness tests
