aww cmon im tryin to eat breakfast here CQ...

but seriously, we can only imagine how hard it would be to be born in one body and know in your mind that its wrong.

I think that the girl uhh boy sorry, its a bit confusing sometimes, should wait until she/he is 18 and knows before that they want to go through with it because it sounds like a pretty full on operation and a big decision that can't really be reversed.

I think once someone is mentally and physically mature they can seriously think about going through with something as huge as a sex change...But at 15 a decision like that shouldn't even be looked at being made, even with a Parents consent.

i dont think tax payers should pay for people to get a sex change, its not like they NEED it, they WANT it. if they want it good for them, but they should have to pay for it themselves.

we dont pay for nip and tucks, facelifts etc so why should we pay for this??

SRS is far from a nip and tuck, or cut and tuck as some call it. This is not just cosmetic surgery CQ, it's something people are born with. Should we make the Blind pay to train their dogs as well or are you just happy to discriminate against Transexuals!

Wheres all the proof they are born this way. For every case Ive read about there is another where the person didnt do it and is now glad about it.

Now tell me Tess, about the hardships people who want a sex change face in day to day life, compared to blind people without guide dogs!

Come on, youre the one who made such a totally ridiculous comparison!

good point CQ. I have nothing againt gay people or transexuals like yourself Tess, but blind people need guide dogs as a necessity to survive on thier own in day to day life, people who want SRS only need it to feel complete as a person, it is a mental necessity not a physical one, which puts it into a different category.
