Lighthearted thread here.

Whilst having a shower and washing my hair (not that I have that much nuxta) I realised what a sucker I am for commercials on the TV. Yes, I was using a shampoo so wonderfully pushed by our Collingwood idols.

Let me know if you are trapped by the adds and what products you use because you saw the add.

Also, who doesn't get hungry when you see a flame grilled whopper being cooked at about 10 minutes to dinner time.

Just for fun.

I got that shampoo for my 18yo son to use - because it is "shampoo for men".

I only got sucked in because it's got our players in it though.

My sister bought a Base elements shampoo at finals time last year because they had a competition to win grand final tickets, she gave it to her husband, a Carlton supporter who refused to use it just because it was advertised by collingwood players.

I never said a word buddy, you have a lovely head of hair. You could wash your hair 5 times a day for the next 6 months and that bottle will still be nearly full.

You can't beat good old cheap no-names brand shampoo, I reckon.

Just use tons of it ... lather your hair up ... rub it in for a few minutes ... then rinse it all off.

Then REPEAT the process all over again.

And bingo ... an instant Afro.

Guaranteed to turn the most mild mannered hairstyle into Jimi Hendrix.

When it comes to quality ... you can't beat No-Names.

NO NAMES

Now you're talking.

I personally recommend the old Velvet laundry soap ... real heavy duty stuff.

Or for that really hard-to-remove hair ... you can't beat SOLVOL.
