It is the Labor party who makes the political heroes in this country and it is to the Labor party that falls the hard tasks. Jonny and Costello can ride the boom as hard as they like but there is going to be blood spilt in Australia with property and I think its a matter of if and not when.
The true believers will rise again. |

snow24, spot on, the debt ratio is worrying. Perhaps if people stopped buying things they can't afford, then maybe we wouldn't be in that situation.
It shouldn't be the responsibility of government to control how much people spend. |

What on earth have you got against Peter Costello? Just because he's not your idea of a best mate, doesn't mean he wouldn't make a great PM. |

Funny, Latham is not everyones idea of a best mate either, but I have not seen any defense offered when he is accused of being unsuitable for PM. |
