We don't have any, we used to, but every time we had burnt toast the bloody thing kept going off. At our old home we had three, one near the kitchen, and the other near the bedrooms. And I think one in the actual kitchen it's self, it kept going off...

I only have one, but then again, I only live in a small 2 bedroom Unit and don't need more than one.

I assume you mean the ones actually installed! We have two connected, a battery one and one connected to the main wiring but I think we have at least another two laying around somewhere still in the packet.

Of all the houses in Oz, it would seem most have on average 2 smoke alarms, this would be very alarming if the majority have the little yellow sticker inside that reads "Danger Radiation"....
