I used to argue with HAL before I realised it was a bot because I thought it was a real person and it somehow managed to offend me..

He's a serial pest, what can I say, I can't deny that because he does it to me in the real world aswell as he annoys people here. At least he isn't cruel and offensive to me, just a shit stirrer. I can see he's only mucking around where as it's hard to tell over the net.

Maybe we need a HAL day where everyone with petty jealousies and hidden agendas is just frivolous and whimsical for 24 hours.

I'm intersted to hear that there is actually a HAL in real life and that you know him, Bec...... can you give us any info like, what sort of person he is, how old is he etc? There's no point asking him, it would be impossible to get a logical answer.......

And who knows if HAL has actually ever done a serious post?
