it comes with itunes software which you transfer your music onto-then transferred to ipod, ive had no problems so far....also to have the battery replaced to this date its $99....

so david it looks like no mp3 player would be good for you.

I have the Meteora CD and it does that to me when I tried to play it in my Diskman, and the DVD player.

hmmm thats strange that it wouldn't play on your DVD player.... it works on my playstation2 so yeah I'm not sure what that could be.......
