So are you saying you've "transitioned"?
There's a question I never thought I'd be asking.
And what happened at the dinner with Shack & King? |

I wish you good luck Tess.
Watched with interest the sex change op featured on "BodyWorks" a few weeks ago.
If you have not already had it done you really have a world of pain to overcome after the op.
Good luck, I know its what you want and need. |

They really show anything on TV these days, don't they - I mean who really wants to watch a sex-change op - or any really gruesome ops like on RPA? I'm not sure whether or not sex changes should be allowed to be performed or not but certainly not for anyone under 18
Tess, has it actually been proven that transexuallism is not psychological? _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Two interesting inventions of the 20th century were the off switch and the remote control.
Not all shows are to everyones liking, but thats why they have classifications and warnings. The warnings on "Bodyworks" was even repeated before the actual segment.
Oh, and RPA rates its socks off.
Engaging television. |

RPA is interesting viewing. It's certainly not my cup of tea, but it shows stuff that you would not ever see otherwise. |

Haha!
I do find that funny!
Congrats Tess, all the best for your future. |

If you're a gay man, and you have a sex change, does that then make you hetrosexual? _________________ There are so many site rules and regulations I no longer know what I can and can't put in this signature. |

Best of luck Tess.
I suppose we all take for granted who we are if essentially we're happy with who we are. Must be a great thing to wake up and be on your way to who you want to be, and who you were born to be. Not an easy thing to do, you're very brave.
Good for you. |

I watched that show with Paula (I'm assuming it was the same one) and I felt very sorry for him/her, it didn't look like much fun and made me feel slightly ill. It's their body and we can only wish them the best of luck for whatever their future holds, but the easier road would be to seek help and realise it's all in the mind. You don't need to mutilate yourself and try to change your gender to find out who you really are. |

Controversial view as usual Birdy.
I will say that I'm surprised that you say you watched Paula and her operation, yet failed to see how happier she was with her life post-op. Maybe you flicked channels before they showed that. |

Interesting question.
Now, a little background. I have "known" Tess on these boards for about 2 years. We have had some wonderful brawls, so I would not count myself as her greatest supporter.
That out of the way I shall explain something she related to me when she was still Male. She state categorically that she was not homosexual despite being outwardly male. She was always of the belief that she was female inside and that a mistake had been made in the genetic make-up.
By telling me these things I came to understand that Tess was truly female. It was never a physiological disorder, it could not be cured by therapy or religion.
I accept Tess for what she is.
Tess, if you feel uncomfortable with my post, please tell me and I shall delete it. |
