Vandals have destroyed the Hobart Victoria Cross War Memorial, on the Domain. They have caused $30,000 worth of damage, apparently same cans were found at the scene and have been sent to forensics.

What sort of person would do something like that? Low lifes...

You must wonder what sort of thinking causes people to do such thoughtless destructive acts..... it must be the same sort of people who deliberately start bushires and stuff. These people really need to go out and get a life.

Pretty low act, I thought people would of respected people that fought for the country. I wouldn't want to be them if the RSL catches up with them, imagine that destroying something that is dedicated to those who served in the Australian Army.

I think the memorial is for those from Tasmania, though I am not sure, I haven't visited it yet. I might check it out next time I am near the Domain.

It'll be repaired, it's going to cost $30,000 to repair it, once it's done, I will go along and check it out. On the Domain there are other War memorials up there for other Wars, and other stuff like that.

a man has to answer for the wicked that he done, so call a rope and find a tall oak tree, round up all of them bad boys, hang em high in the streets, for all the people to see.
