The Mighty Boy.

Thanks, mate. What a good pic to illustrate the wonderfull little ute's pulling power.

For anyone interested, my Mum had a Mighty Boy. It was canary yellow with chrome carry bars and speed stripes down each side. Of course, she had black & white fluffy dice hanging from the rear view mirror! It was her last car and she drove it till she was T-boned by a Police F-100 (or similar).

They were in the wrong and Mum had independent witnesses but gave up the fight. Unfortunately the 'Police force v. Little old lady' was overwhelming her and causing her too much stress. She sold the Mighty Boy to a wrecker for a pittance. That also brought to an end her driving. She was 84.

She was known around town as 'the groovy granny' because of her hot little unit.

Eunos, yes the big day was celebrated with great gusto. She's still with us. I'm not sure it's appropriate for me to make a topic about it but if anyone does, I'll be happy to respond.
