This sucks! You have to wait till he crap tickets are sold untill you can get the good ones! My point is that you go out of your way to go buy tickets and i'm willing to pay for the good ones. You waist your time going and then they say come back later in the week to get the better tickets. I'm I wrong in saying this? You Suck Channel 7 ticketmaster!

Yes it is stupid system. For the Anzac Day match I had bought my seats in the heavens in Q section weeks before the match. The 2 days before the game I went to buy an additional ticket and ended up buying 7 more in M8 and onsold the Q ones! What goes on at Colonial is far worse. Quite often if you come during the second quarter you will get great seats.

But it is actually primarily the fault of the MCG/CS. It is the venue that holds back on the seats and only release a specific number of sections at a time. There theory is that they don't want people scattered all around the ground. But it still doesn't explain why they don't release the good ones first. Also for TV broadcasts the AFL/Ch7 want the interstate/overseas markets see bays full of people (they don't film the empty sections if they can avoid it).

It is similar in a way to buying concert tickets, unless you a very lucky you never get the really good seats. The promoter and venue hold back the best for corporate groups, sponsors, radio give-aways and ticket agencies such as Visa-preferred

The wait is almost over.
