Read in the Age today Alex McDonald (no1 draft pick imposter and accountant) has stepped into the breach after our media/PR person Karen Gilbert resigned. I hope this is only temporary since slotting players and ex-players into areas beyond their expertise is one of the major problems the club has had over the last 10 years. It's a simple test - is he the best qualified person for the job ? I doubt it very much.

Same could be said about our general manager. How many others were interviewd before we decided that a retired historian was the best qualified for such a commercial role.

When Eddie & co get the broom moving at year end lets hope they start in Admin and then move to the playing list. The CEO appointment is just as important as a new coach. A good one won't even start the job if he can't sweep his broom through the place first. Get a tough one Eddie !

It's not likely that the new administration will remove the GM, it was allegedly the new GM's co-operation as a then CFC Board Member that was traded to Eddie for the GM role during the coup last year.
