Whats that about him being a long term prospect? I thought we didnt get Ellis cos we didnt wanted someone who could play in the shorter term? |

I dont think they'll play him until he adds a little bulk to play senior footy but if he's ready then he'll get a match. _________________ π€π€π€π€ |

He is on track to play in the seniors this year. Round 1? The way he is going about his football etc, if he puts his hand up in the NAB cup, I feel he is a huge chance. The boy can play and it's in reach if he wants to grab it. |

He has very nice skills but they might not want to rush him. However, the boy does excite me! _________________ π€π€π€π€ |

I dont want him to play seniors this year. Simply he is not ready. I would much rather he spent the whole year at Williamstown getting 10 or 11 marks a game and learning to dominate games under Gotchy than being run on and off the bench by Mick and having his confidence snapped.
Remember Richard Cole played the first game when drafted and even Josh Fraser in his first year looked like boys against men. Best to dominate in the Magoos and get that Star quality then splinters from the Pine. |

Agreed if he is not ready, the club will make the right decision. |

MM and the coaching staff will weigh up how he is and if he is mentally and physically ready - and this is done on a case by case basis.
Judd played first year and adapted to the pace very well.
If you had to be a certain weight and physical size Robbie Flower would never have played AFL or Rhys-Jones, Twiggy Dunn.
It is always on a case by case basis - but I think we played Josh about 2 years too early as he was not physically ready for the ruck confrontations - but with the added kgs and an extra 6 months off he will be cherry ripe in 2006. |
