Video 'shows UFO, aliens flying over Turkey'

A VIDEO that claims to show alien spacecraft has been described as the "most important images of a UFO ever filmed".

The vision was taken by 42-year-old night guard Yalcin Yalman in a compound in Turkey earlier this year, The Sun reports.

I would have liked to have answered a and b because I think it some sightings are legitimate whilst some are government cover-ups of new top secret warcraft testing..

I believe because I've seen something wierd and I have no other explanation. And, as you might know, I'm usually pretty cynical and a bit sceptical of a lot of things so it's unlike me to believe easily..

You might be onto something there Jac. There is reason to believe the Americans and Soviets were experimenting with flying saucers during the cold war. But the evidence of UFOs in recent years is very impressive. We're not talking about the usual crackpot observations here, there is some serious scientific research going on now. I just wonder which government will be the first to admit something's going on.

We can say this much though, if these UFOs are really extraterrestrial then they can't be hostile (as in the films War of the Worlds or Independence Day). Perhaps they are exploring spirits like ourselves. I hope the mystery is resolved in my lifetime.

I should have added another option in the poll though (which I would have ticked): "I have no bloody idea what's going on"

can't comment as I haven't seen the video, other than to say that I'm very very skeptical about so-called "UFO sightings".

Don't you think it's pretty naive to think that we are the only planet in the entire universe that harbours life? Not the solar system, the UNIVERSE. We don't even know how far the universe stretches because we are not technologically advanced enough to know. What are the chances that somewhere out there, there is a planet of similar substance to ours, approximately the same distance from a large star much like the sun, has a moon or two or four, that harbours water and life (whether a single-cellular organism, a human-like organism, a dinasaur-like organism, a fish, a tree...)? Pretty good I reckon. It's just a matter of whether they are advanced enough to have reached us yet. They could be wondering just like we are. Just a thought..

It's entirely possible. If they were around I just doubt they would've only made themselves visible to a select few, namely hillbillys or elderly couples living in remote areas Laughing
