The Great March to the McG

yep our cheersquads heard of that for a while actually. Is it only a rumour though coz i thought the march was on for sure? Well i hope it is seems like an Ok idea especially seeing all the tradition this club holds.

Did everybody get their "In B&W" package yesterday? For those who didn't there was a flyer advertising the "Great Magpie March" to be held on Sunday 19th March from 11a.m., prior to the first Home match against Adelaide. I hope you're all feeling energetic. I might have to go into training for this one. The Great Magpie March will commence not at Victoria Park, as I had imagined it would, but at ... wait for it ... the Melbourne Park Tennis Centre. Magpie Greg, you were not far off the mark. Maybe this is for the benefit of all the corporate yuppies who haven't made it home from the Australian Open yet.
