Hey im new to this forum and its great .
i have been going for sometime now to the vfl and theres hardly any support. seeing how many people we get at the mcg each week, 400 magpie supporters isnt enough for a vfl game lets try and push the 2, 000 mark . so lets get as many as we can down to TEAC oval on saturday . dont sit home and watch it on tv ...

Great post Meddy7.
Yes the crowds are very disappointing, but next season Lica and I have got some huge plans to get families and kids involved in game day down at Victoria Park for all our home games.
I know it is tough when the Pies play on both Saturday and Sunday, however, there were 4 interstate games this season when the VFL team was the only Pies game in town and still the crowds were poor.
Next year we will make it irresistable and Magpie fans will come from far and wide to taste of good ol' grass roots footy.

Funnily enough one of the games with the most magpie support was the away game at Preston.

| I love the VFL live in Geelong have been to half a dozen games, Werribee Nth Ballarat Willy Visy. It is hard to get to the others for me. It will be fantastic to have them at Vic Park next year. Hope there is a pub near by to have tea on the way home. |

I agree when the pies get back to Vic Park there will be bigger crowds

Hopefully the first match at Vic Park is when the seniors play interstate and the magpie fans that need there weekly footy fix will turn out in droves. As well as everyone else who wants to head back to the grand old ground.
10,000 + at a reserves game, only the pies could do it. |

On sat. there was no support what so ever . !! very sad for a final .
everyone going to the afl game should get down to teac oval. befor going to the G ... !! |
