Coxy's emergence as our first ruck has seen him quickly become one of the very best ruckmen in the game. |

Coulda/shoulda/woulda happened much earlier, but...
Sadly, someone else was clogging up that position. And the club insisted on trying to make a foreigner play the hardest position on the ground (key forward) instead of the easiest by far (for a foreigner). |

Americans watching the footy. Thanks to Mason Cox, we have a following in the United States...
They watched the game from "America House" in South San Francisco, California. I think they are very knowledgeable, I was surprised.
2023 Grand Final Recap: "America House Played Its Part!"
We're here to do a lot of things — including but not limited to celebrating American success! Mason Cox and Collingwood eked out a victory in the best Grand Final of our time knowing this amazing sport. We talk the game, the non-footy entertainment, and more extraneous material that fits into the general vicinity of our footy experience.

Yeah people forget that AFL is a game of attrition in regards to injury accumulation and sheer work load over the years.
Big Mase has actually missed the best part of 2 seasons with eye issues as well as getting a late start.
Could easily play until 35 - injuries notwithstanding. |

If I was psychic I would have done a 7-Up style doco from Mason’s beginnings to the flag. Plenty of archival video and interviews to put an awesome doco together! |

Credit to the big fella.
I've been one of his biggest critics over the years, but he stepped up when it counted.
He made history being the first American to be a Premiership player. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

First "US American", as some put it. (Second North American.) |

Geez how sensitive are these GWS lambs to be upset at a very humorous comment? They must have all had humour bypass surgery that makes them go sooky sooky la la 🤓 All I can say is bring it on! I somehow can’t see Cox quivering in his huge boots 😛 insane comments from the Prima Donnas 😂 _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas.
