If Essendon hold on tonight and the Eagles beat the Swans at Subiaco tomorrow—hardly out of the question—there'll only be 3 wins between 1st and 10th on the ladder. Things getting very interesting (unfortunately, just a reminder that we could have been equal top if we'd beaten the Bulldogs and the Suns).

Had the Bombers lost tonight it would have highlighted just how bad the umpiring direction by Dobber Campbell has been all year. How that last goal to Port could have been allowed is staggering. An absolutely perfect tackle and dropping the ball not rewarded. If the umpire is not dropped for either an incorrect decision or incorrect positioning then it is a joke. Bruest got away with one last night as well. If Campbell does not want to reward the tackler he should come out and tell us. I know he was soft but we don't want to see it umpired for the likes of him.
