ok here are my reasons for saying ALAN SHEARER is the best striker in England:

1) scoring 30 goals in a team that came 11th last year
2)seeing how bloody shithouse England have gone since his retirement, (not that they were any good before)and watching the JOKE that is the current England strikers
3)Plays in black and white stripes

4)andy cole had a go at shearer publicly last season. This coming from a striker who plays shit for England, and who scores less goals than Shearer each season despite having Beckham, Keane, Giggs and co. firing in passes to him

5)plays at least 35+ games a year, whereas Owen is constantly injured

6)his pride and love of his team, above country and money

ok theres a SMALL SAMPLE of reasons...Dont need to explain this to Joffa cos he and i know how good shearer is, and we do not undervalue/underestimate his greatness.....
