Didnt we just play them?
Anyway, a must win considering we are 12th and only have 1 win on the board.
It'll be interesting what St Kilda do re: Bruce/McCartin. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

We are & have been so inexperienced in the VFL due to injury & replacements it's hard to see "us" winning too many games. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

How close is Langdon to an AFL return?
This will be his 3rd game back?
Will also be keen to see what Mayne does after missing out on a flight to Perth. Surely he does something!! _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Langdon is miles from a recall to senior football.
He's 2 games into his come back from a 12 month injury lay off
Going to take him a while to get match fit
Plus he is a fair way down the pecking order now at the selection table
Best scenario (based on how they handled Scharenberg) he might get a game after another 4-8 matches in the seconds unless we get hit with a fair amount of injuries.
Reports from the seconds games have him going only ok at best which is what you would expect after a long lay off.
His form prior to being injured in the senior team wasn't overly good he may have been hampered at the time by injury but he was certainly not playing to the standard he had the previous season (2015)
He's a bit unlucky as we have a load of similar types and originally he got his chance (like Frost) on the back of crippling injury toll.
I reckon he's more than likely going to spend the season in the seconds unless he discovers some amazing form to force his way in to the side |

Captain Jack Hellier wins the toss, immediately upon his return from an ACL that he heroically carried through the 2nd half of 2016. We'll be kicking to the Sherrin Stand end.
Small crowd here.
Doesn't look like Jack Blair made the cut. One tear...
Oh well, looks like I'll just have to make do with Jarryd today...
Jarryd starting forward, incidentally, along with Cox.

A bloody terrible turnover from Hore (?) comes straight back over his head, Bruce into an open goal for the Zebs...

McCarthy now forward, on for Keeffe, marks a hack kick out of congestion at CHF.
Turns, wheels around, goes long and deep, looking for Cox, over his head, Coxy gets back forst, OFF THE GROUND IN THE SQUARE, GOAL!
