The irony of your moniker name and the post you put up sum up your class, character and quality as a supposed Collingwood die hard. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

We must be flying along if Ben Reid isn't in our best 22... _________________ Brown re his GF omission:

I don't believe for one minute we are tanking. if we were tanking Bucks has been guaranteed to coach next year. You wouldn't intentionally tank if your job was on the line for performance. _________________ Toby for President |

I agree although I'd like to see the Lake Boga live-wire being given a look.
Langdon was promoted way too quickly post injury in my view. Both before and after his injury Langdon's a liability when defending too close to goal. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Reid missed a month or so with the quad and was straight back into the seniors. He trailed way behind Dixon many times last week and spent considerable time on the bench last week, so it is most likely that he needs to get some fitness back and will do so in the 2's. |

Good point - rushed back way too quick is a reasonable explanation.. _________________ Toby for President |

What was the point rushing him back to drop him the next week |

He is an important player and they probably thought he had the right training loads to cope with the intensity at AFL level, but on game day he appeared to be found out. |

What fantastic work by the footy department to stuff up if that is the case.

Another week another bizarre team selection. Dropping Reid is madness. As for Cox coming back in, he's earned his right and worked hard to get back into the side. This is his chance now to repay the faith shown in him by the selectors and dominate on Sunday with a big performance. He needs to, simple as that. |

Some funny changes. I had 3 of the 4 outs but didn't see Reid as one. As for the ins, I suggested Blair only as a wind up but didn't see Thomas getting picked ahead of Mayne. |
