If we take our time and Broadcast our disposals like we did last week, we best take some Lube (High Temperature Bearing Grease recommended). Which team will show up? The quick moving forward team or the slow move in every direction but forward team?

This is the most annoying part of this whole sorry Collingwood saga circa Nathan Buckley.'Which team will turn up"??? Why is it like this? Its been like this for 6 years with no consistency.We see a team "TURN UP" and play like champions and the next week the Yallourn North reserves could beat them.This is the change that needs to be made and how it's done is anyones guess.

I think it's the natural consequence of a rebuild and injuries to key personnel, tbh. Young, inexperienced players struggle for consistency. Nothing is ever certain, but it should come, in time.

All was revealed by Buck's in his press conference today:

http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/video/2017-06-29/bucks-on-pendles-elliott-and-the-hawks

He also reflects on the reasons for last week's loss in a bit more detail.

But, yeah, good to have Elliot back. There's three goals right there before we even start.

So apparently "no wholesale changes" according to Bux at his presser today. So that must mean reprieves to either of:

* C Brown
* Crocker
* Phillips
* Langdon
* Aish

My simple views are twofold:

* select a squad with form
* put all X factor players "up forward" and aim to win NOT DEFEND

Josh Thomas upgraded to the senior list, which is usually an indication that he'll play...

With Cox and elliot selected on the field you'd assume they'd play, apparently. I'm happy with that.

Of the 5 on the bench, you'd think reid and greenwood are locks

I'd like to see big cox start deep in forward line and just kick the fuggen ball long to him.

He will either mark or get it to ground .

You have elliott , fasolo and De gory front and square and bang , goal.

Forget this handball
, going sidewAys and backwards bullshiy.

Just kick the fuggen thing , get a contest and keep it locked in forward line.

It's a simple game plan I know but the Crap we served up against port should never be taken into a game plan again. Atrociously bad footy .

We have the best midfielders running around like headless fuggen chooks looking for a short option .

Just kick the thing long.

Get it on the boot long

No more of this dinky Di short handballs and kicks that create turnovers in back half.

Just kick the bloody thing.

It's called "foot" ball for a reason.

Rant over
