can someone please explain why players run back so far to kick for goal when the man on the mark is only 10m out?

That was a great quarter by our defence, which is slowly come by together with Langdon, Schaz, Dunn and Howe (though Howe is a turnover risk).they held together very well despite the Cats momentum.
Good quarter Pies, though we still look very slow going forward. They seem more likely to score than we do so I doubt well win, but let's hope we get some of that first quarter fluency back. Our ball movement has been dreadful at times.

Hubby had fried flake I had grilled fish, and a scollop each, all yuk, the batter was, shock horror, soggy. Ugh. I might be your cheap neighbour soon, a town over maybe!
