These two fellows ditched the usual Europe—Bali—USA off season jaunt

Instead both did the gruelling 96 kilometres Kokoda Track

From what I understand the Kokoda is as much about mental challenge as it is physical

Both these guys may have a say in our success over the next year (or two)

Really interesting these two doing it together, they seem a strange pairing.

FFs peoples, it's October.

Of course we all hope to see Beams in top shape playing again next year, but honestly, he has a heap of physical and mental hurdles to overcome before that can happen. The main thing is, that he gets well and finds some inner peace and mental strength.

We know all of that Rude Boy and the task he pulled off in October would from a layman’s point off veiw build a certain amount of positivity and self esteem

October yes but the mans coming from a long way back and time is on his side

Good on him I say

Couldn't think of a better "bounce back" activity to restore faith back into Dayne! Awesome news.

Wow! A really encouraging sign.

Anyone with a serious mental health issue needs to learn how to manage the condition. Taking on and successfully completing a challenge such as this, suggests that Dayne is doing just that. Thumbs up to him.

First things first. An improved footy presence in 2020 may or may not follow, although I hope for his sake alone that it does, as it would surely be a real plus for his personal recovery.

He's coming to our mine-site on Thursday week. Having a yarn and co-hosting an auction with Jason Akermanis.

Any chance you can find a spare hole to throw Akermanis in?

If you do seal it with concrete just to be sure. Laughing

Way too dangerous. Skids might accidentally seal DB in there with him.
What would Walsh report that as? Asphyxiation. One week.
