My advice would be to put your health first before anything else Dave. Whether that means you want to renew or not is up to you at the end of the day.
If you feel attending games will be adverse to your health, then I think your choice will be easy but if you think it makes no difference then keep attending games if you wish to.
If you decide to no longer attend games, you can still buy a cheaper non-matchday membership to support the club financially. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Well I had a Bloody Pressure 24 Hour test a Few Weeks ago and Go See the Doctor about it on Friday. Might need Blood Pressure Tablet.
Problem when I sit by Myself that I can't seem to Control myself at Times as I get very heated and get Very Anxious.
I am thinking I may just go to the VFL and Watch the AFL Games on TV.

David nothing is more important than your health mate.
If your body doesn't react well to the stresses of being a whole hearted magpie supporter Dave then maybe take the road less travelled and watch the VFL live and AFL on TV
If during the course of the season your health improves then you can buy tickets match by match as it appeals to you mate
Best wishes on getting your health right mate that's the most important thing |

I can only speak for myself Dave but I am much more relaxed at the game than watching it on tv. Dunno, I just get more frustrated at home, I feel so helpless. If your health depends on it Dave, maybe just wait for a replay.
Btw, being a member doesn't mean you have to go. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

I use to get a General Admission Membership before I got a Reserved Seat on. I use to sit with someone but he Stopped going 2 Years Ago.
Guess I could get 1 of those as I still can buy Tickets Cheaply(I think) when I do feel I am up to it _________________ I am Da Man |

There is a simple answer DTM.
Join up with Melbourne Storm like I have. They never let you down. Went to more Storm games than Pie games this year. And I got really excited by what I saw. Best run club in the country by a mile. And by the way they won the GF last night in a cake walk.

If you are going to have a Heart attack then the G or that other stadium are the best equipped places to have one. |

Dave... mate, you need to focus on your health, like others have said.
Do not go to games and don't feel you need to buy a membership -Collingwood has plenty of cash.
Spend the money on Foxtel HD Package and record the games. Wait for the result and and then watch the game. Whether we win or lose, you know the result and so won't be as stressed.
All strange advice, but **** that, it's your life and you only get one.
Best wishes... _________________ Go Pies!! |

I think the problem is watching live matches because they can be very stressful if its tight or extremely aggravating if we are playing badly or leak easy goals.
The safe option would be to watch the replay after you know we have won........ But that may limit how many games you get to see. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

I have seen the Pies lose 11 GFs, some by 1 point, 4 points, five points, ten points, etc, sometimes I thought id get too keyed up, but I was young then. I only have a five game membership now, but I could never actually watch us in a GF,as I could get pretty uptight too, could lead to some trouble for me. I did not watch the 2010 draw, just as bloody well !! Dave, your health comes first, that's the thing, these days at games, I go along with the attitude we will probably lose, and a win is an added bonus, I don't get too worked up, just sit there muttering foul words and blasphemies, under my breath, if things don't go the Woods way, or the umps are not too my liking. ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I can go back to the 1964 GF. I'm still alive. Stress is good for the heart. At the end of the day it's just a game. Your loved ones are more important. Just do what you think is right Dave and you can't go wrong. |
