At least we can feel warm with the knowledge that the club is putting "Members first" this year.
This is a pretty basic thing to organize and while not the end of the world it does reflect poorly on this aspect of the Club. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

After 17 years of continuous membership from interstate I am pulling the pin on my membership.Just about every year there has been an issue with paid for goods not arriving and having to be sorted out and requests for interstate members (QLD) ,to perhaps have a pass for either the Gabba or the Gold Coast game instead of 3 games in Melbourne( now 5 I believe).Always looking into it and never doing.I sent my postal form in to cancel the auto pay and got confirmation they had received it only to have the money taken from my account .Another one I had to politely but firmly restore.Requests to have my membership cap sent with my pack as I may not get to a Melbourne game greeted with ,YES of course only to not arrive and then told I would have to pick it up at a Collingwood home game.I have never received my membership pack before Christmas and I've always paid before the due date required. I really don't think they give a toss. |

Apparently there was a bit of mix up. Collingwood were given wrong information by their dispatcher DMS that the memberships had been posted on Thursday 14th December 2017.
In fact they were not dispatched until the 20th December. Apparently Collingwood found this out yesterday.
The Membership department was really disappointed that they had told so many members the wrong information.
DMS had told Collingwood that the packs would arrive before Christmas.
Apparently the memberships have been taking 2 weeks to arrive, so mine will hit be letterboxes around Mon-Tue next week. | mine arrived two days ago, still dont have my daughters, and I pay for both, rolling it over. Why dont they put all family members in one packet to save post costs.
This has been going on for years, and yes, its pathetic. I remember whinging one year on here and being told what does it matter, the games dont start for three more months, but its notthe point. Obviously a lot of them are Christmas presents, as juniors is, and its 2 weeks past christmas now. Just for reference, I placed an order with a New York camera company, and I got the parcel on Sunday, yes, Sunday, the 31st!
I agree, for all the state of the art facilities, services to members is really crap and stinks of we dont give a fuckjust give us your money. One year I rang and the guy was fantastic, other times its a nightmare of misunderstandings. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Surely, the club should be demanding compensation from DMS, then. |

Exactly!
Your membership actually "expires" on the 31st of October each year.
If you're an auto renewal, surely you should receive your new membership package early in November??!! _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Same. My daughters pack has come but not the rest.
My daughters pack has a voucher for the hat to be picked up in Melbourne (we live in Sydney). _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Stop complaining, Stui, and think of those less fortunate than you.
Surely you know what's going to happen to those that were sent by carrier Hare? (If not, ask the grandkid.) |
