No, Crocker did not play in vfl. His initial listing was an error.

crocker is playing http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/2018-03-22/selection-first-team-of-2018-locked-in
don't think there was any mistake there is some info on his selection half way down. Good luck to him, I like to see one wild card a week especially when it is so early in the season and we have so many out. You don't unearth talent unless you dig every now and then Smile

I was referring to the error listing him in the VFL squad for the practice match yesterday.

For those interstate and OS, the rain has set in here in Melb. over the last few hours. Steady drizzle with the odd thunderclap and little or no wind. Not light drizzle, more medium sized drops. And after about a month or so without rain there's that fresh smell in the air that you get when fresh rain hits parched earth. A million snails have woken up and come out of hiding in my backyard.

Have to see if it lasts through to this evening. With no wind to dry the grass it will be a bit slippery tonight, as it will for the F1 boys going out for practice laps later today.

Wonder whether Cox will wear a glove tonight?

Give Cox lot's of grippo (traner needs to be out every 10 mins with the grippo)

Started pissing down whie I was doing my laps at the Carnegie Memorial Pool not too far from Carnegie Hall. Great for my garden & hopefully the G will have drained well and the rain will have stopped.

THIS IS NOT our best side, by any stretch, but it should get the job done against, the horrid hawks, I'm so glad Hodge is gone, that sniper always lifted against us, that will help a lot, in winning this game. ummm. I think we can win this one, for me its Pies by 14 points, after a tight game. ! GO WOODS !!!!!!

Marge! The rains are here! Steady rain in the eastern suburbs. Hate it for footy. But as a passionate gardener Im wrapt. The G drains magnificently but this will test it.

If you look at the 512 composite on the radar link above it shows the rain distribition and it's looking dry backing up your post.

Go pies

Bought a membership for my son today online. He obviously wont receive the package for a couple of weeks. Wants to go to the game tonight. Hes waiting for a email confirmation but hasnt received one since we paid 20 min ago. Can he get some confirmation from the club so he can go tonight?

Have to be careful using long range weather radar. Because of the curvature of the Earth the radar beam can overshoot the rain falling below its field of detection.

Also important to remember that weather radar only shows active precipitation (rain, hail etc.). It does not detect clouds except by inference when those clouds are actively raining. Rain bearing clouds loaded with moisture (water vapour) can approach but will not show up on the weather radar image. As these clouds begin to rise as they move across hills and mountains the temp and pressure drops causing rain to start falling. So just because the weather radar shows no current rain at a certain location doesn't mean it won't start raining there a second later.
