His recent hit out he was trialed as a ruck/fwd and by all accounts did well (kicked two goals)
If he fits into this role and makes an impact in Magoo side where do Nicksters
see him in AFL side with Cox and Grundy sharing that role and Stephenson playing bit part in similar role

Simmlar how we used Leigh Brown 2010 and Onwards as a 2nd/3rd Tall that can have sometime in the Ruck.

Cox and Grundy are not Certain to Work Yet

He's our back up KPP/Ruck.

Playing him forward and ruck lets him learn some now skills to increase his versatility. If Reid, Cox or Grundy goes down, he can be used as a fill in forward, back or ruck.

If he develops and Cox doesn't, he'd come into that mix too.

I like that—-a backup for a key forward in the event/events of failing form from Cox or the dynamic duo of Cox / Grundy don’t work— or injury or suspension

Tis ironic that he a back man has gone forward and Darcy gone from forward to back line

Guess Father Time will be the the natural process with likes of Reid

Few more like unfortunately Goldie (even if he does go again in,19) and Wells

McLarty and Stephenson are what less than 20 yrs old and with two or three years and player retirement they should be cherry ripe (no major injuries please)

Hopefully he comes on.

Seems to me the coaches are trying to make him into a key position utility, which can only be a good thing.

Hoping we can see him in the senior side in the near future.
