Official word from Pies that Goldy will have more scans tomorrow to assess ACL damage. No obvious incident in the Dogs win. Be yet another forward out for Round 1 if ACL is ruptured, as feared

Gutted for him. Thought he was done a few times but he was really good last year.

Rotten luck and sadly mirrors a lot of Goldsack's career in that every time he has gained momentum and produced good form he has suffered a serious injury.
We'll miss his versatility and hardness for the contest but people shouldn't get to down on our season because of it as we have different options to cover his loss.

Devastating news for Goldy..probably our best clubman. Could not have happened at a worse time as well..a whole preseason of toil gone wasted.
He'll be 32 next year, so it will be a tough decision as to whether he plays on. Just do the op, get on the recovery program, and think about that stuff later. Good luck Tyson. |
