Just reported. DeGoey had his leg amputated. Still listed as 2 weeks. |
Late update, they amputated the wrong leg so he had to go back in and have the other one removed.
Still listed as 2 weeks, Eddie has allegedly put in a call to Oscar Pistorious. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

They say he's spring-heeled, but his kicking needs work. Just what Collingwood likes.

It also said that Mayne thinks he's a good chance to get up for the weekend so fingers crossed. |

Waiting on further news on Mayne and De Goey. (And Mihocek/Howe).
Thursdays team cant come quick enough.

TEST:
J. Howe (Concussion)
B. Mihocek (Annkle)
B. Sier (Leg)
Hopefully all three get up for AFL/VFL this week. Worst case seems to be one game out.
1 WEEK:
J. De Goey (Leg)
Haven't heard any more news about this being worse than first thought. We'll be praying that he'll be right to go once we're back from Sydney.
1-2 WEEKS:
F. Appleby (Hamstring)
B.Reid (Calf)
Reid will be a welcome addition if he can stay on the park. A lot of our premiership hopes may rest on his legs, as scary as that sounds.
2-3 WEEKS:
T. Goldsack (Knee)
R. Wills (Hamstring)
Sack could become a massive fairytale if things go right for him.
3-4 WEEKS:
J. Elliott (Hamstring)
Doubtful to get into the seniors from here. I think the best we could hope for is a big VFL finals campaign, which is still something to look forward to.
5-6 WEEKS:
A. Treloar (Hamsting)
Dont know if he can get back into the team for finals. Just do what you need to do Adam.
SEASON:
T. Broomhead (Leg)
Dunn (Knee)
Kirby (Heart)
Scharenberg (Knee)
Wells (Foot)
'Berg and Dunn are the big ones. A lot may rest on Reid and Goldsack coming back to play their positions. |

Other than the Mayne scans, Ch 7 reporting;
*Goldsack could play this week in the VFL.
*Treloar keeping fit and running. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Goldy is hell bent on playing another game at AFL level. Obviously has set this year as his target. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

Near full strength and both Goldsack and Reid would be unlikely for seniors given their late return. With Berg and Dunn both out though, either is a real chance if they can prove their fitness. Returning this week means they have just enough time.
A defence with either Goldsack or Reid at full back is definitely an improvement (I'd stick with mobility and switchability and go with Goldsack). We badly need to release both Howe and Moore to more attacking roles, those two are going to give our opponents a major headache if allowed any freedom. With a change to our lineup this late, going with a veteran is the preferred option (over say a Madgen).
It might be fairy tale stuff, but getting either Goldsack or Reid in for finals (both seems a stretch) would be amazing, some well overdue good news. _________________ Well done boys! |

At 11:55 left in Q2 Scharenberg is in a marking contest and when he comes down he props slightly as though something isn’t right with his knee. Then he runs off. Minutes later ... _________________ All We Can Be |
