I'd just change it when theres news coming through.

ie; Injury Thread - Moore Hamstring

Injury Thread - Pendlebury Update

Injury Thread - News on Langdon

etc

You get the idea. It also saves new threads being started.

Quote:
Pendlebury is hopeful but probably unlikely to lead the Magpies against Greater Western Sydney at Giants Stadium on Saturday, just seven days after surgery. Moore will miss an undetermined number of games with a "minor" hamstring injury, and Aish is sore, but Howe only needs to get through training to be passed fit. Varcoe, Lynch, Madgen and Tohill will undergo fitness tests but Reid is still some time away. Langdon is making inroads, Murphy's recovery from ankle and now back issues has also been slow, and Kelly is also being managed conservatively. Stephenson will be available at finals time while Wells will race the clock to return before season's end. But the campaign seems over for veterans Dunn and Beams, with the latter now taking indefinite leave to deal with his mental issues. - Ben Collins

Gee wizz, a few new names there. All "tests" though. Must have been a few sore players after the VFL game.

7 players undergoing a fitness test. Unreal. Hopefully all are ok to play with Kelly a week or two away.

Still waiting for good news on Langdon, Reid, Murphy, Beams and Moore. With Moore the most likely to get back before finals start.

I also think it's worth noting that JT underwent a fitness test on his hip last week and played in the VFL after being dropped.

He didnt have a big game in the VFL, but its worth noting he is sore.

... this time for daring to talk about a Richmond VFL player...

Jack Higgins is in hospital for bleeding on the brain -- cause unknown.

Sounds scary. Sad

"Mihocek's form and body have held up. The Tasmanian, who played for VFL clubs Werribee and Port Melbourne before landing at Collingwood as a key defender at the end of 2017, has played 32 consecutive games from his four-goal debut against Fremantle in round 11 last year.
...

Mihocek doesn't take his durability for granted – he's hoping to break a family curse with knee injuries that has claimed both of his parents and his two older brothers. (His father Jack played 13 games for Essendon from 1976-78.)

"My family is riddled with ACL injuries and I'm surprised I've never done one," he said.

"So I'm not going to trim down the legs any time soon – they've probably saved me a few times.""

The core strength those legs give him big advantage

Many good rucks of by gone years were same same

See Polly Farmer & John Nichols—legs like tree stumps
