Buckley confirmed he'll miss 3-4 weeks with hamstring

So it’s a bit more than just tightness then. Should send him back over to Germany.

Already covered under the Injury & Illness topic. But hey, starting a new thread every time seems to be the default position of Nicks 2019.

I give up.

Not overjoyed with latest Elliot injury and Buck gives it 4 weeks —I say give it till it’s right and Jamie can come back in for what’s left of the season

No disrespect but the way our defence is performing with Moore back on park
his soft tissue issue to return would be a bigger set back than one less forward

Sigh. With JDG’s shin soreness resurfacing again, looks like our luck is running out. Again.

JdG's shin soreness???[/quote
At the end of the carlton game JDG walked off the ground with an ice pack
on his shin.
maybe a reason for his bad goal kicking ... but who knows.

Injuries that happen during a game or as a result of the game are part and parcel of our game

It is the ones at training that get up my nose

It's alright Rudey.

We've just got to get to the bye round without losing anyone else. That's 4 weeks including a trip to Sydney.

A lot of the "Tests" will play in the VFL. Some will miss an extra week. But they'll all be back very soon. Thats 7 players right there.

Still waiting for news on JT. Hopefully thats only a week or two.

Elliott, Adams and T Brown will all be ready closer to the bye. Schaz will be back in the VFL not long after the bye. That will be a great game to get to.

Thats 11 players (including a few this week) we should have back before the bye and one not long after. That and we'll have a new player to introduce to the team in place for Dunns LTI.

Yes unfortunate are the injuries but with 15 + weeks to the pre final bye
it does give time for close to all players available and hopefully with games into their legs

No major one’s please

still getting those niggeling injuries

Look, most of those injuries are short term. The only long term injury is Dunn. We really are in a much better position this year than last year. The main concern is a player like Elliot who plays one or two then goes off again. Varcoe has to be managed as does Beams, Wells and Sier, but the rest are holding up.

I once had a good enough injury. It hardly hurt at all.

AFL Team to be named around 6:20 tonight. VFL Team named late tonight or early tomorrow.

Bit of an update:

Quote:
COLLINGWOOD

James Aish - Concussion (TEST) (Available)

Dayne Beams - Hip (TEST) (Available)

Chris Mayne - Concussion (TEST) (Available)

Jordan de Goey - Leg (TEST) (Likely to miss a week)

Mason Cox - Ankle (TEST) (Not Available)

Flynn Appleby - Ankle (TEST)

Nathan Murphy - Ankle (TEST)

Max Lynch - Concussion (TEST)

Josh Thomas - Ankle (TBC) (No News)

Jamie Elliott - Hamstring (1-2 weeks) (Some reports are 3-4 Weeks)

Tyler Brown - Shoulder (2 Weeks)

Taylor Adams - Groin (2-3 weeks)

Matt Scharenberg - Knee (5 weeks)

Lynden Dunn - Knee (Season)

3 Back this week (If you can count Mayne as being back). Looks like JDG will miss a week and we're still waiting to see if JT is named or not. Cox and JDG should be ok to go in another week. Hopefully Jamie is only the 1-2 instead of the 3-4. T Brown and Adams are not far off either.
