I agree. We'll wait and see if he's a late out or anything in the VFL. But I wonder how this hurts his chances of playing against Richmond? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I agree. Noble looked the goods, but possession is nine tenths. If Appleby plays well, it will be hard to drop him, and in any case, we should have Greenwood to come back. |

Name of “the” game as we start to build—in form and fit players will jockey for a permanent spot and quiet simply put its in their hands
Liked what I saw from Appleby and hope he has grown as a player
Ben Crocker same applies to you as JT having yips and Elliott can be problematic so a crummer spot there mate _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Someone told me that Chris Mayne has done a hamstring against GWS.
I cant find anything official. Does anyone know anything? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I'm also trying to find out if Nobel is playing in the VFL. Cant see his name anywhere in matchday thread. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Not unless his hamstring is on the side of his knee. He had an ice pack taped onto the side of his knee on the boundary line. No crutches in sight at that stage |

Unofficially:
Quote: | Josh Thomas - Hip (TEST) Played the week before when should have rested. Missed this week.
Jamie Elliott - General Soreness (TEST) Will play.
John Nobel - Calf Soreness (TEST) Precautionary omission. Will play this week. Question is VFL or AFL?
Levi Greenwood - Shoulder (TEST) I think he will play.
Chris Mayne - Leg (TEST) Would like more info here if anyone knows.
Will Kelly - Leg (TEST/1 Week)
Nathan Murphy - Back (TEST/Indefinite) Reports that he was going to play Vs Frankston. Assuming will be tested this week.
Daniel Wells - Knee (4-5 Weeks) Reports he's been training well and ahead of schedule.
Dayne Beams - Hip/Mental Health (5-9 weeks/Indefinite)
Darcy Moore - Hamstring (TBC)
Ben Reid - Calf (TBC)
Tom Langdon - Knee (Indefinite)
Lynden Dunn - Knee (Season) |
After getting 7 players off the list from last weeks report, we added 4. I believe some of them may have been precautionary. Now Mayne is the only addition from game day.
We could have up to seven tests, again, this week. Hopefully all pass. Then we're waiting for good news, or at least a timeframe with Reid and Moore and of course Langdon. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Found a little info today.
He copped a knock on his left knee. Left the field half way through the last quarter and iced the knee up.
Should have a fitness test and we'll know if he's going to play on Friday soon. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Ok, so now Aish is added to the unavailable list and Greenwood to definitely miss again also. Mayne is a test
How ironic, we could still lose two more from the Giants game ( Mayne, Aish )
Challenging times. |

Gee Langdon news is a kick in the guts
Not to mention the list that follows—-that’s going to be a task and a half to
stay in the race
We gotta do it and as Malcome Frazer said “ Life wasn’t meant to be easy”

Really very disappointing news about Tom Langdon. What a catostrophe the injury list is becoming. |

Langdon gone now, Moore is suspect. _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000. |
